Hi Tina, Did you get a chance to download your free copy of Easiest Holiday Meals Ever? I wanted to take a minute to highlight one of the strategies I thought was super clever. You see, I love surprising my guests (or even just my kids) by offering a variety of delicious treats at holiday meals. It’s just more fun when everyone can pick their favorite flavors, don’t you think? What I DON’T love is spending dollars in the grocery store and hours in the kitchen sweating over half a dozen cookie recipes.  That’s why I loooooove this brilliantly sneaky tip from Jessica Hylton-Leckie of Jessica in the Kitchen.  It’s so simple, I’m not sure why I never thought of it! Jessica says:  Get a great variety of holiday cookies by using a great base recipe, and then making several batches with different flavour additions. Add chocolate chips to one batch, sprinkles to another, peppermint to another and white chocolate, cranberries and pistachios to another. That ways it’s really easy to put together, but each batch is unique and it looks like you put in a lot of effort into the cookies! #genius We look awesome, everyone gets to eat their favorite cookie flavors, and the best part? We don’t actually spend much time or money.  Of course...it’s not our fault if everyone assumes we went to the trouble of baking five different recipes. Right? :) We do enough good deeds that go unseen. Let’s just call this payback!
